Sharing the same tradition for excellence, Pileggi On The Square and Giovanni & Pileggi also share a strong belief in education. Both established stylists and aspiring associates participate in intense and ongoing programs designed to motivate and refine existing and developing skills. Under the direction of artistic director and 1996 North American Hairstylist of the Year, Giovanni Mele, the group meets regularly for advanced training in cutting, color, and communication techniques.

Candidates are selected for the training program based on their performance at an initial model presentation in which they do both color and haircut. Once accepted, associates are required to make the commitment of time, focus, and discipline necessary to succeed in our profession. Progress is continually monitored and as skills develop, associates begin to see clients on Sunday and Monday at Giovanni & Pileggi & Pileggi On The Square.
